2002 Annual General Meeting
The 2002 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 23rd October, 2002 at the RSNZ Science House, 11 Turnbull Street, Wellington at 7:30pm.

The AGM will be preceeded by a dinner with drinks at 6 pm and dinner at 6.30 pm. The cost is $25. For catering purposes we need to know who is coming. The speaker after the dinner and the (short!) AGM will be Janice Hall of Kapiti Cheeses Ltd., Paraparaumu. Kapiti cheeses will be a feature of the dinner and some new varieties will be available for sampling.
Janice will tell us how cheese is made, and go on to explain the research and development leading to new products and the marketing of them in New Zealand and round the world. She will sketch the very interesting rise of the Kapiti Cheeses company "who we are, where we come from and where we are going".
Among the challenges is the management of the 200 varieties of cheese which have to be made, matured and sold, each with its special characteristics and needs, and each with a specific life span.
